Born and raised on the east coast, Amy found her love for the outdoors in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It was not long afterwards that she discovered the value and impact of adaptive outdoor recreation during her time as a volunteer for the Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country. Fueled by her passion for making outdoor sports accessible and inclusive to all, Amy quickly went on to Prescott College to complete her B.A in Outdoor Program Administration. While completing her degree, she developed a volunteer program for Northern Arizona Adaptive Sports Association to accommodate the growing interest and demand for adaptive ski instruction in the southwest. Amy achieved her PSIA Adaptive Level II certification and has enjoyed sharing her knowledge and excitement for adaptive skiing as a volunteer for programs all over the country. While her involvement in adaptive snowsports has taken her far and wide, Amy is excited to make a home in Colorado where she can continue to do what she enjoys most for many years to come.
