We host a handful of events throughout the year for the Ignite Adaptive Sports community. Stay tuned for all the latest opportunities to get involved at an Ignite event.
True Colors Gala
Registration is closed, but we’d still love to see you at the True Colors Gala! Please email Gala@IgniteAdaptiveSports.org, and we’ll help get you registered. We can’t wait to celebrate the Ignite community with you and share a fun Friday night filled with great company and special moments.
Orientation & Training
Ignite Volunteers are the heartbeat of our work! New Volunteers must attend an orientation session and participate in training sessions at Eldora Mountain Resort. All Volunteers must attend two full-day on-snow clinics at Eldora Mountain Resort each season.
Upcoming orientation dates at the Boulder JCC (6007 Oreg Ave, Boulder, Colorado 80303):
- Wed 10/21 – 6 to 8 PM
- Tues 11/3 – 5 to 7 PM — JUNIOR volunteer orientation (for ages 15–17)
New Volunteer Recruitment
During the off-season, the Ignite team is out in the community meeting people who are interested in becoming volunteers. Volunteers help make adaptive snowsports possible for athletes of all abilities. Come say hello, learn more about getting involved, and meet us at one of our upcoming recruitment events!
Free Private Screening
Shredding Barriers follows an Ignite athlete learning to sit-ski and new volunteers discovering the rewards of teaching adaptive snowsports. Join us for a free private screening on November 7, 2026.
