We maintain a world-class, on-site ski and snowboard shop. It’s complete with a fleet of specialized adaptive equipment to accommodate the varied needs of our Athletes.
ABOUT ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT
Our adaptive equipment is used to assist Ignite Athletes during their snowsports experience.
Our fleet includes all types of adaptive equipment for downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ski-biking, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. We also have jackets, helmets, boots, gloves, right down to socks and sunscreen available for lessons. The use of any and all equipment is included in each Athlete’s lesson fee.
Highly-Trained Technicians & Instructors
All Ignite equipment technicians are manufacturer-certified. Volunteer Instructors receive training not only in adaptive equipment and skills-based techniques, but also about specific disabilities and how to effectively support each Athlete. With our adaptive equipment and trained instructors, no one is ever turned away because of their disability.
