Change Lives With Ignite

Thanks to generous supporters like you, Ignite Adaptive Sports provides opportunities for children and adults living with disabilities to have transformative winter sports experiences.

One of the most impactful ways you can make a difference for our Athletes is by making a donation. Your contribution ensures that no Athlete will be turned away because of their ability to pay for a lesson.

In what ways can donations be made to Ignite?

Financial gifts
Ignite Adaptive Sports relies on support from many individuals to help with the day-to-day operating costs of providing lessons to our Athletes. Unrestricted gifts provide us with the greatest flexibility to provide scholarships, reach even more individuals with disabilities , and continue to be a leader in adaptive recreation.

Matching gifts
Your gift can be doubled or even tripled if you or your spouse work for a company with a matching gift program. Check with your human resource department on how to access the program at your company.

In-Kind Donations
Products or services, which have the effect of reducing our operating costs, are greatly appreciated.

Charitable bequests
A charitable bequest can take many different forms and be tailored to almost any set of circumstances, and it provides an unlimited deduction for estate tax purposes. Bequests also provide a flexible planning tool for meeting the needs of loved ones and making choices that fulfill their personal wishes. For example, a will allows you to stipulate a specific cash donation, or state a percentage of your gross assets to be donated to Ignite.

Life insurance
The gift of a life insurance policy allows you to make a major gift for a modest cost. Many donors use life insurance gifts to receive a current tax deduction while passing on an old policy that is no longer needed.

Other assets
Stock, closely-held stock, real estate (including land), checking or savings accounts, property, or any combination of these assets, can also be donated to Ignite.

If you have any questions about a gift or you are interested in donating stocks or other assets, please contact our Executive Director at [email protected].
