Colorado Gives Day
Ignite Adaptive Sports is a non-profit organization that has been providing therapeutic recreational opportunities for people with disabilities at Eldora Mountain Resort for 40 years. Our highly trained and passionate volunteers love helping others learn how to downhill ski, cross-country ski, snowboard and snowshoe. Ignite is empowering students and changing lives, as captured in the video below. Last year we were able to provide over 2,200 lessons to over 450 students from the Front Range community, far exceeding our goal of 210 individuals.
Schedule your donation by 12.08.15 and it will be increased!
If you have been thinking about making a donation to Ignite Adaptive Sports, please consider doing so today. We are participating in Colorado Gives Day on December 8th, 2015 through ColoradoGives.org. 100% of every donation will go directly to Ignite (no processing fees) and all donations given that day will be increased by the First Bank Incentive Fund. This will stretch donation dollars even further to help cover such costs as scholarships, liability insurance, certification reimbursements, leader trainings, equipment maintenance, etc. Your donation of any amount, big or small, will help support Ignite’s mission.
We Do Not Turn Anyone Away
With trained volunteer instructors and adaptive equipment on hand, Ignite does not turn anyone away based on a disability or ability to pay. We make it a priority to keep rates affordable and for those who can not afford those rates, a scholarship fund is available. Our volunteers, and in-kind contributions from Eldora, help make this possible, but Ignite can not do this without the continued support of donors like you.
